Theodore Wirth Home Tour

Jason was invited to bring some atmospheric magic to the historic Theodore Wirth House in Minneapolis. Theodore Wirth was instrumental in designing the Minneapolis system of parks in the early 1900s.  Swiss-born, he was widely regarded as the dean of the local parks movement in America.

The Theodore Wirth House- Administration Building is on the Nation Registry of Historic Places because it was built as a home for Theodore Wirth, an international figure in the field of park design and his administration offices within the building were the actual location where he designed or redesigned the award-winning Minneapolis parks.

Warmhouse Story collaborated with the current residents of the house- Superintendant of Parks, Al Bangoura, and his wife, Kendra Lewis, to bring an extra layer of beauty to an already stunning landmark. The tour was part of Doors Open 2023, a weekend full of access to fantastic sites across Minneapolis.
